PR Account Executive
cabedge.com a web design, development, marketing and public relations firm is looking for an Account Executive to serve on the Public Relations team. The candidate should have strong writing skills, great interpersonal communication and a drive to succeed/meet assigned targets. The AE will help manage and coordinate ongoing publicity duties - writing, editing, research, administrative tasks, pitching, event planning and execution, along with daily client interaction. Limited travel is involved and attendance at events/work functions is a must. A basic understanding of Mac Computers, Microsoft office and adobe is expected, as well as social media.
Required Qualifications Include:
Three plus years experience leading public relations and marketing efforts for multiple clients in diverse industries
- Ability to manage relationships with members of the media across multiple industries both locally and nationally
- Ability to manage social media sites by strategically creating messaging and developing followers/fans for clients
- Strong event planning and organizational skills
- Outgoing team-oriented person with desire to lead internal and client meetings
- Ability to build client relationships by managing day-to-day client activity and expectations
- Must have knowledge and experience in email campaigns and distribution programs
- Must have knowledge of Cision Point, Lexis Nexis and other media database/search engines
- Have strong writing skills for case study writing, press release writing, custom email pitching and some web content
- Must have established media and marketing contacts nationally, regionally, and locally.

Graphic Design Internships

While we can appreciate concert posters and album covers, we’d like to stress that ideal candidates should have a clean and professional design aesthetic. We make simple, clean, and usable websites. Sites that get people to the information they are looking for quickly and easily. Just take a look at the work in our portfolio to see what we mean. Your tech knowledge is important, and we do want to see that you can build a website, but it doesn’t need to go overboard with fancy flashy tech-guru implementation. If you really want to wow some of the people here, we suggest making your portfolio site usable. Just something simple and clean that makes it easy to see the info you want us to see.
Required Qualifications Include:
- Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite of applications including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Ability to take direction and constructive critique
- Working knowledge and ability to convert PSD designs into WC3 compliant CSS/HTML is a strong plus
- Outgoing team-oriented person with desire to contribute
